On the first day of the new year, Tracy and I decided to hit the mountains for our first Pacific Northwest ski adventure. And we picked a great day. The slopes just got a dose of new snow, and the trees were snow covered and the snow pack had fresh powder. We had a great time. Mount Baker, Crystal Mountain, and Whistler are on our list for next stops. All are within driving distance for day skiing.Can you believe it?
