Last Saturday, Tracy and I ran down to Seattle for some boat parts. It was a beautiful sunny day, so we drove through Ballard, a town just north of Seattle. Ballard is known for its historic downtown and its set of Locks that transport boats between Lake Union and the Puget Sound. We ended up at a park on Puget Sound... where one of the yacht clubs is located. Lots of boats and lots of sun, but too much wind. It was cold. We grabbed a Latte at a Fish and Chips joint and walked around a little. Here are some photos. The Olympic Mountains on the other side of the Sound were just stunning.
Can't wait to go down there again!
