Friday, we went to an art opening in Everett.
One of the artists on exhibit was my friend
Lori. She does a lot of nature prints and collages. Once the house is renovated, I may buy one of her originals or prints. Her husband,
Carl, is also an artist, but of music. We have all his CDs. He is very talented. Click on their names to check out their websites. We are lucky to have such intersting friends. We like to try different dining experiences with them. We have done Thai and Mexican so far. Our next food outing with them will be to Ballard in August.
After the opening, we went to our favorite restaurant in Everett, the Majestic Cafe. It reminds me of Til Midnight in Holland. Anyway, here we are with Abbi, Sean, and Angela... toasting to friends. They mix one of our favorite martinis... the Frank Sinatra (gin with a splash of OJ). Yum.
