Okay, now we can breathe...

Sorry for the delay in posting. Tracy and I have been very busy the past couple months trying to sell our house. Long story short... we purchased another home in Everett and needed to put our house on the market. Yes, I know, not a good time to sell a home. But for some reason, everything worked out just fine. We sold it in November. We did "For Sale by Owner" again, which was hard because of the market being down. We bought an MLS number and did all the marketing, sign, flyers, and openhouse ourselves. We ended up having a buyer's agent bring us the sale, so we did need to pay out some commission, but not as much as we would have.

Out of respect for our old house, I don't want to fill this post with a bunch of news about our new house (AKA "the big project") quite yet. This post is in honor of the home that we lived in for the past four years. Although it was not our dream home, it certainly was a great place to live, with incredible views and good neighbors. Here is a copy of the website I put together when the house was for sale. It isn't the actual site because I had to inactivate it, but it will give you the flavor anyway. And it is a fine tribute to the place we called our "first home in Everett."

Cute "old" house. I like the living room furniture. Is that yours? I like the stars too!
