Testing the Thermostat

I was out on the boat in Puget Sound for the first time! We had to check the new thermostat with the mechanic. We didn't go far -- just out into the sound and then back. But it was fun. The mountains are a backdrop for the city (although it is not really that clear in the photo). We saw sea lions floating around and two bald eagles just hanging out waiting for dinner.
We are still having trouble getting an accurate engine temp on the thermostat, so we will probably need to go out and test it again. The painter is just finishing up on spraying the mast... so if all goes well, we might just be sailing this summer :)
