Thing #5 - The Oil Lamps

We have three Weems & Plath oil lamps on our boat. One of our goals for the boat is to make it pretty self sufficient when away from shore power. So the oil lamps are great for lighting when we are out at sea or at anchor. No power is drawn from the battery, and the warmth and glow from the lamps is so much different than the cabin lights. We have two gimballed yacht lamps and one anchor light that can be set on a table or hoisted up in the cockpit.
