The weather here in Washington has been very unique this winter. We have had more rain, snow, ice, and wind than the average year. Schools have been closed; roads detoured; power has been out; it has been crazy. If you need an excuse to play hookey, it was easy to find!
One thing that has been great has been the Snow! Ski resorts are flourishing. We did some more free recreation today on snowshoes. Abbi and I ventured out alone for some exercise and "girl talk." It was long over due. We took the dogs... yes three of them. What a hoot! As always, it was beautiful. The snow was so cold, it felt like Michigan powder.
