On New Year's Eve, we had game night with our friends Abbi and Angela. It was a lot of fun. We played Cranium. Tracy wouldn't do any of the acting, sculpting, or drawing. But he was first in line to answer the trivia questions. We were a great team!We toasted to the new year with a sparkling wine that was purchased (by Abbi) to support a local Artspace project. Artspace is an organization that teams up with cities to develop affordable spaces for artists to live/work. In partnership with the City of Everett and the Arts Council of Snohomish County, Artspace is planning a mixed-use arts development that will include about 40 units of live/work arts housing plus a new home for the Arts Council. A 2008 groundbreaking is planned.
Five different wines were being sold to benefit the Artspace project; each with a custom label designed by a local artist. They are very fun and whimsical. Here are a few samples... cheers!
