Flooding in Washington

Washington is getting hit with record amounts of rain. This week, there was serious flooding throughout our county and the state. Farms are under water, river valleys are flooded, some roads have been closed due to erosion, towns have been evacuated, and the rain is turning into snow in the mountains -- 40 inches of snow is expected in the next couple days. So far this month, we have had just under 10 inches of rain. The average rainfall for the entire month of November is normally around 6 inches.

There is a lot of debris floating around in Puget Sound. It is pretty amazing.
