A "Knight" in Seattle

One night this past week, Tracy and I had had the opportunity to run down to Seattle. We had tickets to see Camelot at the 5th Avenue Theater. We first went to Benihana's (right next to the theater) for a quick bite of sushi, but it was pretty busy in the sushi bar. We didn't want to take any chances missing the show, so we decided to leave... but we left pretty hungry. Hopefully our stomaches would stay quiet during the show.

It is always great fun to go to the 5th Avenue Theater because it is simply beautiful. The show, Camelot, was just okay. We have seen better performances there (Les Mis, Sweeney Todd). We decided to leave the show a little early hoping to catch something to eat.

We ended up at Kell's Irish Pub on Post Alley. It was so cool. The kitchen was closed, but the waitress said we could get some Irish Stew and a cheese plate. It was SO good. Of course, we got an Irish Beer too. There was an Irish band playing also, which made it the perfect night. I would highly recommend Kell's if you come to Seattle, and here are three reasons:

1) the location -- right across from Pike Street Market nestled in a quaint alley

2) the food -- our stew was excellent and the Menu looks simply delicious

3) the live music -- the Irish music along with the food and beer makes you feel like you are right in Ireland!
