Not that we need another project in our life, Tracy and I invested in this beautiful 1920's colonial home in North Everett. We only moved about two miles from our old home, but it feels like a world away. North Everett has tree-lines streets, historic homes, and highly utilized sidewalks. Our new home is just blocks from the small blue rental house we moved into just four years ago when we relocated here.The home is incredibly preserved... which can be a good and bad thing. Lots of cosmetic updates are needed, like removing carpet, repainting the woodwork, and stripping wallpaper. We are planning to remodel the kitchen right away by extending the exterior wall about six feet. That will be our biggest and first project. It will certainly be a big investment, but it certainly will return better than my 401K right now! And it will be one awesome house when we are finished.
The photo above was taken after one of our many snow dumps last week. More pictures will follow as we start to layout the plan.

Wow, Tina, it's beautiful!! Congrats, and I can't wait to see pictures of the interior! p.s. - how far is Everett from Seattle? Jason and I will be in Seattle for a wedding at the end of July, and we'd love to see you and Tracy!
